About me
I am an Acupuncturist and Herbalist with training in Integrative Medicine.
I’m also a mom to a wild toddler, an ocean lover, a proud Lebanese-American and a highly sensitive person. I was born and raised on the South Texas coast but moved in San Francisco nearly 15 years ago, finally settling in our beautiful Sunset District with it’s salty air and chill vibes.
I found Acupuncture in my early 20s after a lifetime of chronic illness. My acupuncturist changed how I viewed healthcare - I finally felt heard by a provider and I finally felt true healing.
I received my Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco in 2021. My clinical training included internships at Glide Memorial Clinic, ACTCM Community Clinic, the Women’s Resource Center and San Quentin State Prison. Through this training I have seen firsthand how Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine can help close the health equity gap to improve physical, spiritual and emotional well being in entire communities.
I enjoy working with people at every stage of their health journeys, incorporating the many modalities of Chinese Medicine such as herbs, moxibustion, cupping, acupuncture and nutrition guidance. I have experience treating a wide variety of health concerns, though I have a particular fondness for helping clients with
Mental, Emotional and Spiritual wellbeing
Reproductive health including menstrual health concerns, fertility support, IVF/IUI support, pregnancy and postpartum care
Transgender and Gender Nonconforming healthcare support
Digestive health concerns
Support during big life transitions
Physical pain due to injury or repetitive stress
Support around sobriety, harm reduction, eating disorders and recovery
As a general practitioner I work collaboratively with my clients to help you step into your full potential as a healthy, dynamic being. My technique is gentle and I prioritize informed consent. I want acupuncture to be a relaxing, grounding experience in the midst of our busy world. Your hour on my massage table is a way for you to incorporate more compassion and self care into your life, one treatment at a time.
I am seeing clients on Mondays and Thursdays at the beautiful Hatch Midwifery space in the Inner Sunset district of San Francisco.
I am also available for in home acupuncture treatments. Please reach out for pricing and availability for home visits.
